Batman Vs Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Movie Review

This crazy crossover really works out pretty well.

I am a fan of both Batman and the Ninja Turtles, but my initial thoughts on this crossover was that it would take a lot to make it work, because of how tonally different the idiot box adaptations of these comic volume characters are from i another.

But it actually works out pretty well. Sure, we get to come across how the turtles' personalities mix with Batman and co., and the jokey nature can be a piffling forced at times, simply I was satisfied with the outcome and the surprisingly high amusement value. Leo and Bats work out well together and Raph and Robin as well.

Information technology also delivers a lot of awesome fight scenes between a wide range of Batman villains, because bated from the Shredder and his Foot Clan including Baxter Stockman there are no Turtles' villains. And to be honest, while Shredder is crawly, he is under used in the moving picture non doing very much.

The voice cast was good. Troy Baker does a very convincing Mark Hamil impression on the Joker and a have on Bats that's more his own. Those ii really stood out. Not that the others didn't do well, information technology's merely not as intimidating as before portrayals. The Turtles themselves delivered what yous'd wait, so no comment in that location.

The overall await of the film can be summed upwards like this: if the characters are mostly from the Batman catalog, the look of the film is more like the turtles' comics and it works out okay. Some of the character design were a little weird similar Donnie, Joker and Mr. Freeze, but aside from those information technology'due south well done with pretty backgrounds and more colours used than the usual nighttime color scheme from the Batman movies.

To sum upwardly, this seemingly weird crossover offers a lot of good fight scenes and a good mix of the two comic book universes in an enjoyable superhero cartoon.

Definitely a moving picture worth watching

This is an animated cartoon flick that is well worth watching. I definitely believe that these types of films volition do astounding for live action. What I am scared though, especially for live action, is the concept of the directors and producers trying to make it as close as possible to human being relativity, merely for me, that would take the whole value and attraction of the film'due south overall value and popularity marketing focus.

I would love to see this film series, and it's separate respects (Batman) and Teenage mutant ninja turtles transition into the rated categories of film. This I mean, this movie franchise has the potential to take various versions in series from PG13, MR (Mature adult), and R21 (sexual content with alcohol). I definitely would dear to picket the MR and R21 versions of Teenage mutant Ninja turtles and Batman and Robin. Hopefully it becomes a reality, merely if not.... the suggestion is out there.

Overall Great moving-picture show with the greatest insight of reliable potential and definite success.

Very nice blitheness and bang-up voice actors.

Very interesting and some funny, most because of michaelangelo. But, what surprised me, was the same voice from batman and the joker. I really idea it was joker's Mark Hamill! Awesome!

Awesome crossover with batman and the turtles. Epic fight scenes with batman and the shredder. And ofcourse the turtles were also corking. They were just like the 2003 version... hopefully they will make a sequel🤞🏼

Crazy nostalgia trip!

I grew up on the original TNMT and ninety's Batman blitheness. I loved them both and to see both team up was such a trip downward memory lane. If you're a fan of both yous'll love this. There are some missed opportunities and jokes that didn't state (hence the rating) just as a whole, information technology was a groovy film to watch. I loved it.

Perfect

This film is very good. I similar how they have portrayed the turtles, it'due south perfect I don't know why they can't brand a live action movie like this on turtles. Batman every bit usual was fantastic. As a TMNT and Batman fan I enjoyed this moving-picture show.

Holy beat out stupor, Batman!

"Batman vs Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles". Man, even just saying that feels weird, merely, yeah, this is a thing. This animated film is an adaptation of a 6-function comic series made back in 2015. Given that I'grand a fan of both, I had to bank check this out.

Plot: At that place is trouble brewing in Gotham City. The Shredder, leader of the Foot Clan, allies with Ra'south al Ghul, head of the League of Assassins, to bring a new form of terror to the streets. The Heroes in a Half-Shell follow their ninja nemesis to uncover this nefarious plan just to find themselves butting heads with the Dark Knight and his sidekicks Batgirl and Robin (Damian Wayne). Can these ii heroic forces combined requite their enemies a much needed crush shock?

This is definitely i of the well-nigh fun entries of both franchises I've seen in a while and a lot of that fun comes from the characters acknowledging just how wacky their respective worlds and inhabitants are. The way the Bat Family and the Turtles bounce off each other led to lots of great moments both funny and epic (Mickey annoying Alfred, Donnie'south and Batgirl's intellectual fortes, etc.), helped past excellent voice acting. Basic character arcs and dynamics are executed with grace and the comedy got me laughing throughout. Balancing this is how the film gives time to let things be serious for both drama and high stakes with the heroes struggling to overcome their flaws and differences, plus Shredder and Ra's al Ghul making a lethal pair despite their ain opposing traits. In fact, things can get dark at times with fight scenes that tin can get unexpectedly violent (nasty blows and the occasional gruesome decease).

Speaking of which, the fantastic battles offering plenty in players, gadgets, and environments. There's a great mix of martial arts with classic elements akin to Batman and TMNT and different sweet matchups (Batman vs Shredder, Turtles vs Arkham inmates and then on). Fans will also recognize the arable nods to previous media from both franchises. Props to the art style and animation, giving characters distinct designs, fluid movements (with only a few lapses), and striking colors and shadows that manage to make information technology appear that these heroes inhabit the same earth despite existence owned by dissimilar companies. While the picture show is an hour and a half, a lot happens, but thankfully it is well-paced and gives major elements their due.

All in all, this film is a mutated thrill ride you do not desire to pass up. The filmmakers took an out-there concept and somehow fabricated it work. At the moment, I can't call back of anything major to criticize virtually this film, so I'd say bank check information technology out. COWABUNGA!

More than enjoyable than one would think...

Okay, well I must admit that I am not overly fan of neither Batman nor the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, but my 9 year old son wanted to watch this animated DC moving picture movie, and then we did.

When it comes down to it, I take to step up and admit that "Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" was actually a lot more than enjoyable and entertaining that I had first anticipated from the title of the animated moving picture solitary.

There is a adept combination of comedy along with the action hither, which really helped go on upward the interest level - at to the lowest degree for me.

The storyline here was fairly direct forward and pretty much reminiscent of every other animated Batman motion-picture show; a villain has a scheme to do great evil and of course his plans are thwarted past Batman. But this time he had the help of four mutated sewer turtles.

There was a good pacing to the movie, which most definitely as well helped to keep the movie enjoyable and watchable. The dialogue was adequate, taking into consideration that it is, subsequently all, an animated flick.

The characters in the picture show were familiar characters, of course, which also help keep the picture adrift. And the gallery of villains trapped in the Gotham Aviary was just a nice affect. Shredder was actually quite good in this animated movie, and was definitely a footstep upwardly from the usual dimwit version shown in the old "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" animated series. However, it was the fly-human being sidekick that stole the show, he was merely hilarious and so apparently an homage to Seth Brundle from "The Wing", and he even sounded somewhat similar Jeff Goldblum.

My son was genuinely entertained by information technology, and I must acknowledge that "Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" definitely delivered more than I had expected or anticipated. Every bit such, I am rating it six out of ten stars.

Michael Bay, Take Notes

Batman Vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is the newest DC animated pic, and it is a crossover with Nickelodeon's TMNT franchise. The plot is several tech companies in Gotham are being robbed, and Batgirl witnesses one of them. After informing Batman, he goes to Wayne Enterprises to stop them, only to be defeated past their leader, The Shredder, after the ii requite a hard battle. However, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are also in town, having chased their enemy from New York to Gotham City. When they and Batman run into, they fight each other, merely soon, they will have to squad up, every bit Shredder has teamed up with Ra'south Al Ghul, leader of the League of Assassins, and programme to give Gotham a mutant nightmare.

This is an awesome movie. Based on the crossover comic that started in December 2015 and ended in May 2016, some of the characters are spot on (Michelangelo nevertheless cracks jokes, Raphael is however a hothead, and Batman is all the same Batman). The Shredder is treated with a lot of respect, as he is equally much a threat as the Shredder in the 2012 in cartoon, equally he is capable of fighting and using unlike ninja techniques. However, this version changes some things from the comics (like having the Turtles and Batman exist in the same universe instead of having the Turtles make it via interdimensional portal). But withal, it is a proficient movie, with a proficient vocalization cast (with Troy Baker voicing both Batman and The Joker, with Eric Bauza, who did various character in TMNT 2012 and voices Splinter in Rise of The TMNT, voicing Leonardo). Regardless of whether you prefer Batman or the Ninja Turtles, this crossover is a good movie, and one I would recommend.

What a relief..

Given the potential of how good a film similar this could be, I was absolutely terrified of what kind of horrible letdown this would be, given the recent trash DC has produced in the blithe superhero genre, particularly Batman. Thankfully this must take been made past different people.

Seems like this was fabricated to appeal to both older batman/tmnt fans likewise as young fans, mayhap as something adults could enjoy with their kids, although at that place are a couple kills, which seemed out of identify for that, but otherwise fit just fine.

Quite silly at times, even a little logic challenged, but never remotely encephalon donor stupid (like Batman Samurai), and given that cartoons are for kids (right? more often than not? lol), it's very piece of cake to look past. Perhaps they've lowered the bar so much that this showing seems much better than it is, but hey, everything is relative... I guess - I experience like there's something too zeitgeisty in that location, oh well

Lastly, a mostly cracking depiction of Michelangelo, who when done well is awesome.

This team-up mqy sound crazy, but it's a lot of fun!

A satisfying surprise all around, "Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" features an upgrade in character models from the source comic, and actually manages to become the characters right. I loved every 1 of the turtles (Mikey being the standout) and both Batgirl and Damian work rather well here. Batman, for his part, tin can exist cookie-cutter from ane outing to the next, simply Troy Bakery is a solid Dark Knight regardless.

Great action, vivid animation and fun references throughout.

Incredible crossover

Despite a few tonal inconsistencies, Batman vs Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is an incredible crossover that's action packed, fast paced and consistently actually funny throughout. The voice acting from everyone is slap-up, particularly Troy Baker as both Batman and Joker. The action is incredible and thrilling, especially the fights between Batman and Shredder. There'due south also a surprisingly large rogue's gallery of both Batman and Ninja Turtles villains. The music by Kevin Riepl is also really good.

Batman need more Crossover after this

Plot writing was good but a little flake simple. The movie actually did a good job bringing the turtles into the Batman storyline. I love them in every minute in it. Best function is they stay equally the same character that we used to see them in comic, television receiver series, and movie. Although this flick storyline demand more than improvement. I found information technology so unproblematic peculiarly the third act sequence. Overall,I have a fun watching this picture

Dandy cross-over. As a fan of both, I loved information technology.

I watched the TMNT 90s cartoon every bit a kid and got more into Batman when I was older. I was worried the two worlds wouldn't mix, just this film blended the two very nicely. I have to say I was pretty impressed. It didn't tone down the violence besides much to be kid friendly, but the addition of the turtles lightened the tone in many places and added some fun & sense of humor.

It got a bit empty-headed at the stop, simply I won't fault information technology too much for that. At that place were also a lot of small call backs to the TMNT series that fans will appreciate. It was very well written and yous can tell that the writer and production pattern staff were fans of both Batman and the turtles.

At the cease of the day this was a pleasant surprise because previous DC animations take been striking and miss for me. This 1 was definitely a striking. Well washed!

A Better Batman Than Of Late... A Great Comic Book Adaptation...

Firstly, let me allegorically state, "This Is Awesome! - Nuff Said."

So at that place are a few differences betwixt this screen version and the DC and IDW'southward comic Team-Up tale... simply they work. The major one being the reason why the Turtles are on the aforementioned world every bit Batman. In the comic, they come through a portal, with Master Splinter, Shredder, and The Pes Association, and find themselves stranded. Shredder has plans to open a portal and rule both worlds. Whereas in the motion-picture show, the Turtles are of the same planet as Batman. They've just followed Shredder from New York to Gotham. Shredder has some ingenious plan to conquer the world; with the help from his partner in criminal offence - Ra's Al Ghul. Splinter isn't with them in this run a risk and neither is Casey. But that doesn't matter as the writer, Marly Halpern-Graser, does a fantastic chore with the alterations.

Even the fact that a pocket-size one issue sub-story was extended to brilliant proportions in the picture only sings to Halpern-Graser's talent and imagination. As does the change in the technology being stolen and the purpose of the said machinery. The extended Arkham Asylum sequence also shows appreciation and understanding of Batman's Rogues Gallery. Each grapheme utilised is perfectly thought-out... I peculiarly loved the rooted Poison Ivy. Though I would've kept Blight as a Bull Elephant and not altered him to whichever wild cat he was. The Elephant is definitely more Bane.

The strange thing is... where are we?

I know that nosotros're in Gotham only in which Multiverse? In the comic book, we were in the New52 era, Gotham. Nonetheless, in this city, we have the flight GCPD blimps - which Michelangelo LOVES - and then we're in the blithe series? Which the song talents of the actors and actresses support. Batgirl is the Burnside Batgirl - so we're in the new DC Universe Era? Which Damian Wayne as Robin endorses. While Batman and the Batmobile come from Neal Adams 'seventy's run...

But hey, who cares(?) It's Crawly.

Truthfully, I love the fact that they've taken the best elements from the Batman history - or as Mikey would be wont to say, "Bat-story!" It all adds to the wackiness that makes this and then enjoyable.

It as well allows Mikey to be full out A.D.D. and go nuts with everything in, on, over, and under Gotham Urban center. As for the characters these are on-point. The Batman is Batman - The World'due south Greatest Detective. It's prissy to have his deductive reasoning back to total power equally it'southward been defective of late in the new comic run. The Joker and Harley-Quinn are superb. Merely information technology's Mikey who steals the show.

This isn't but downwardly to the writing, which is slap-up. The song talent giving the characters life is some other major asset to the pic. Every single role player and actress puts their all into their portrayal. Troy Baker as Batman really gets the power of the man and the hero. As Joker, he nails his lunacy... and his snakiness. Kyle Mooney is merely a vivid Michelangelo. He exudes his naive joy at all things and his wonder at the foreign and new. Tara Strong perfectly fills Harley'southward voice with insanity and Ivy'south with graceful sensuality.

There'due south not much incorrect with this film at all. I fifty-fifty preferred this animation manner to the usual DC Animation studios blazon. The artists on this seem to take added a missing depth, though I cannot, for the life of me, figure out what it is. Maybe information technology'southward temper - there does feel as though there are more emotion and feeling throughout. Whatever it is, thanks to the director, Jake Castorena, for giving united states this marvellous movie. This is jumping straight onto my watch again pile.

This is a fun film for all the family. It'due south highly entertaining and funny while giving you a mystery story worthy of Batman and The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. So do yourselves a favour sentinel this film and have some laughs. Enjoy.

Batman + Ninja Turtles (short review)

Well this crossover, I did call back was real, until I had researched up a comic book which contained this crossover, I am not a massive TMNT fan only I do like DC and Batman.

Even though, I find the concept weird of this movie but it was definitely enjoyable. The animation, vocalization interim and story was enjoyable.

I as well found it interesting that Troy Baker was cast as both Batman and joker.

I am going to stop review my review here and let you go picket the motion-picture show. And COWABUNGA.
